Mayor, Robert J. Lucas
We are a diverse and proud community located on the Pennsylvania-Ohio line in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. Our rich heritage is one of the fundamental building blocks of our unique city. A premier health system, heavy industrial plants, high-tech businesses, over 30 churches of various denominations and a campus branch of one of the states largest Universities all call Sharon home.

Our Community
Businesses
Sharon Regional Health System with its diverse workforce is Mercer County's largest employer and offers advanced medical care to the surrounding communities. Sharon Tube, Wheatland Tube and Winner Steel are meeting the heavy industrial needs of our nation while the high tech businesses, including Eastern Software and Wintronics, help to keep the city moving towards the future.
Our Community Schools
The Shenango Campus of Pennsylvania State University along with the Sharon School District are also an integral part of our community and accessible to all. Modern facilities of the district, that include a Community Library, computer labs, an indoor pool and a community auditorium are helping to keep Sharon on the cutting edge of knowledge and education. One of our three elementary schools, West Hill Elementary, was recently awarded Blue Ribbon Status by the Federal Government proving just that!
