Engine 83-1 is a 2009 Crimson Pumper, manufactured on a Spartan cab and chassis. It has a 1500 gallon per minute pump, and a 750 gallon water tank. This is our newest engine, and was purchased with the aid of a federal grant from FEMA.
Engine 83-2 is a 1995 KME “Firefox” pumper. It has a 1500 gallon per minute pump, and a 750 gallon water tank.
Ladder 83-3 is a 2002 KME “Aerial cat” 100 foot ladder truck. It has a 1500 gallon per minute pump, and a 500 gallon water tank.
Truck 83-5 is a 2007 Ford F-150 super cab 4x4 pickup truck. It is a utility vehicle used to transport equipment, personnel, hose, air packs, and various other miscellaneous duties.
83-01 is a 2010 Ford Explorer. This is the new Fire chiefs’ vehicle, and will be in service as soon as it is lettered, numbered, and its light bar is installed. (Chiefs’ vehicles were purchased by grants and generously donated to us).
Air trailer 83, is a 2003 enclosed trailer, custom fitted by Smith fire services, as a mobile cascade air refilling system. It enables us to transport the trailer to a large scale fire to refill our air bottles at the scene.
Boat 83, is a 15’ “Starcraft” aluminum boat with a 9.9 hp Johnson outboard motor and a tee-nee trailer. The boat is used to rescue people from the river when needed, to clear obstructions on the river, evidence recovery from the river, and to safeguard the public during community events around the river.
