Friendly reminder to Sharon residents for any home sellers or buyers in the City of Sharon, please be reminded that we have an ordinance in place in place which requires all residences to have garbage service, which is through Tri-County Industries.

When you are buying or selling a home in the city, please make the transition of trash collection and billing services smooth as possible by sending a copy of your sales agreement and naming the previous owner and new owners, as well as the property or record involved, to the attention of Darla at Tri-County industries. Recycling 

Recycling is mandatory in the City of Sharon in accordance with local ordinance and Pennsylvania Act 101.

Please place all recyclable materials at the curb on your scheduled collection day. Accepted items include:

• Metal cans
• Empty plastic containers
• Paper
• Newspaper
• Magazines
• Cardboard

All materials should be empty, clean, and placed loose in your recycling container. Items such as plastic bags, food waste, and other non-recyclable materials should be placed with regular trash.

Your participation helps reduce landfill waste, control costs, and keep our community clean.
