The Office of the City Clerk serves as the official records custodian for the City of Sharon and provides administrative support to City Council, City Departments, and the public. The City Clerk attends and records all Council meetings, maintains official ordinances, resolutions, and electronic records, certifies official documents, manages the City's seal, and oversees initiative and referendum petition processes. The office also ensures the safekeeping and accessibility of municipal records, coordinates board and commission term notifications, and performs additional duties as assigned by City Council or the City Manager.
