The City of Sharon is seeking consulting services to continue a single-family owner-occupied housing rehabilitation program. This program will be funded under the City’s HOME Program. Consulting services requested include: screening applicants for eligibility, conducting property inspections, preparing bid documents and selecting a contractor, establishing project files and ensuring compliance with lead based paint regulations and all other applicable Federal, State and Local regulations.
Interested firms should obtain a “Request for Proposals” (RFP) from the City of Sharon Office of Community & Economic Development, 100 Shenango Ave, Sharon, PA 16146, (724) 983-3231, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM. The RFP includes a project description, scope of services, selection criteria, and proposal submission requirements.
The firm selected must comply with State and Federal civil rights and equal employment opportunity regulations. Involvement by MBE/WBE business and Section 3 is encouraged. All qualified proposals will be given due consideration without regard to race, religion, sex, handicap, or national origin.
Proposals must be received at the City of Sharon Community & Economic Development Department at the above address no later than 3 p.m. on Thursday, February 26th, 2026.
