Residents are reminded that recycling is mandatory in the City of Sharon in accordance with local ordinance and Pennsylvania Act 101.

Please place all recyclable materials at the curb on your scheduled collection day. Accepted items include:

• Metal cans
• Empty plastic containers
• Paper
• Newspaper
• Magazines
• Cardboard

All materials should be empty, clean, and placed loose in your recycling container. Items such as plastic bags, food waste, and other non-recyclable materials should be placed with regular trash.

Your participation helps reduce landfill waste, control costs, and keep our community clean.
