The City of Sharon is soliciting sealed proposals for residential garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection, disposal, and processing services for a five (5) year term from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2031. Services include four (4) annual leaf waste collections.

Proposals must include two (2) options: (1) a base bid with a tag system for excess waste, including bulk item collection twice per year; and (2) an alternate bid for unlimited collection.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held April 20, 2026 at 1:30 PM at City of Sharon Municipal Building located at 155 West Connelly Blvd, Sharon, PA 16146.   Sealed proposals are due May 4, 2026 at 1:30 PM at City of Sharon Municipal Building located at 155 West Connelly Blvd, Sharon, PA 16146 , at which time they will be publicly opened. Award is anticipated May 13, 2026.
