LEGAL NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 5:30 PM, the Sharon City Council will hold a Public Hearing at the Sharon Municipal Building, located at 155 West Connelly Boulevard, Sharon, Pennsylvania, as part of its regular meeting of Council to hear, review and consider an Ordinance amending the Zoning Ordinance for the City.  The proposed zoning ordinance amendment will provide the following changes to the zoning ordinance:

• Section 1 repeals the City of Sharon’s adoption of the Mercer County 2006 Subdivision and Land Use Ordinance and all amendments thereto, in their entirety.
• Section 2 provides that upon the effective date of this repeal, all subdivision and land development activities shall be regulated by the current Mercer County SALDO that became effective September 1, 2025, and all amendments thereto.
• Section 3 provides that the provisions of the Ordinance are severable, while Section 4 renders the Ordinance effective ten (10) days from its adoption.

A copy of this ordinance is also available for inspection at the City of Sharon offices located at 155 West Connelly Boulevard, Sharon, PA 16146 during regular business hours.
