The City of Sharon invites residents, property owners, businesses, and community partners to review the draft East Hill Neighborhood Action Plan, a five-year, resident-informed strategy for stabilizing and revitalizing the neighborhood east of Downtown Sharon and west of Buhl Park. Developed with the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation (YNDC), Sharon Community Development Corporation (SCDC), and local stakeholders, the plan builds on the City’s Comprehensive Plan and focuses on improving rental housing quality and landlord accountability, supporting long-time homeowners, repairing streets and sidewalks, addressing vacant and blighted properties, encouraging quality attainable housing, and strengthening neighborhood-serving businesses.
